scoot nelson- I had a few years of fame in the glam rock 70′s, before punk came along and spoiled our party.
scoots not my real name, my real names’ eric thistlethwaite and i was born and grew upin a grey dreary cotton town in the lancashire pennines. so when music came along and i decamped to london i needed a new name badly, whoever heard of a rock star called eric thistlethwaite.
Nelson came about because of my style of driving, using one eye because i was usually wrecked on drugs and alcohol to see through two and scoot because it sounded vaguely american.
My wife and my shrink think i should write a blog, it may be therapeutic to get it all out. Which is great if you can remember what all is, this is a guy who once started  drinking in reno and came to three weeks later in a transexuals apartment in seattle- and before you ask i have no idea if i did- but manufactured or natural it all leads to the same conclusion, so i probably did’nt miss anything i hadn’t had with hundreds of groupies, whores and whoever happened to be there at the time.
don’t get me wrong, i didn’t have sex with just anybody, oh no. They hadto be human ,female and have a pulse-ok then-still warm. But never guys or animals, well, no to my knowledge.
